Rah-Rah, Inc. was founded in 1989 by George Keane Sr..

After George Sr.’s time working for one of the leading scarf & accessory design firms of its time, he saw an underserved market in bringing fashionable yet affordable scarves to primarily colleges, universities, and secondary schools.

That is where the Rah-Rah name originated. George Sr. is a “Rah-Rah” type of guy. He wanted to create fashionable neckwear for the institutions that people are “Rah-Rah” about.

Eventually our customers started to ask us to make men’s ties. So we started a collection of men’s ties that combine the special elements from our customer’s institutions and classic designs that will always be in style.

In 2004 George Keane Jr. (GJ) joined the company to help meet the growing demand for our ties, scarves, & embroidered active wear.
